17 Commandments!

‘17 Commandments for Keralites’ or ‘What A Malayalee SHOULD Do’ is something that will DEFINE the future of the Keralites! It is more than clear that the Keralite IS in a ‘Make Or Break Situation’, from where NOONE but the Real Keralite Himself/Herself can extricate the Malayalee Self from what it has fallen into, taking in all these years of rotten things, ideas & what not, and take the Malayalee into the once creative, self reliant, educationally & culturally forward situation!

17 Commandments, if followed, will help the Malayalee escape from the degradation of the Malayalee Self, which has happened over the years that nobody noticed it! Malayalee has fallen into the deepest chasms of Consumerism, Educational Degradation, Moral Disintegration, Greed, Wholesome Selfishness etc in the decades which preceded this degeneration of the Malayalee Self!

17 Commandments IS an earnest effort to make the Malayalee UNDERSTAND what REALLY IS happening around & make him or her do something that will save the Malayalee Self from getting totally annihilated! Tutor Mantra College (TMC) & ‘Colleges of Kerala’ take this opportunity to Start Something That Will Change the Malayalee, once & forever! We expect all the 3.5 Crores of Malayalees will further this idea by sharing what we have presented here, by posting the ‘LINK’ of this post where ever they think it is suitable & necessary, by sending & posting the 2 pictures provided here in various social media sites & other platforms etc! LET’S SAVE OURSELVES - The Malayalee Self!

IAS Training In Kerala!

Quality Training, whether it be Academic, Extra-curricular, Competitive or IAS training, has always been a rarity! Because, Quality is something that is Not Found here, there & everywhere or grown on trees; and, nor can it be provided by this one, that one & every one!

That’s why despite the self proclaiming IAS Training Centres line up the highways, showing away their sub standard wares & ‘placard’ing their so called ‘Past Results’ and putting up Boasting Billboards of the Magnitudes of their unending IAS Line up, the Highest Literacy State Kerala always slumber on the bottom of the IAS List, every year, all these years, with an exception -that of a ‘Once In A Blue Moon Kind!- happening this year 2013!

‘Colleges Of Keralam’ always provided Quality Things to its readers, all these years, as its been an integral part of Those People Who Always Stood For Undiluted Quality! As those People OF Quality who are behind ‘Colleges Of Keralam’, the site ‘Colleges Of Keralam’ also is bound by the Promise To Keep & Maintaining Quality which is one of the rarest species in the world of today!

When people, incited by the IAS Results of 2013 run helter skelter, in utter confusion, through the milieu created by the ad world commotion of the IAS Training Institutions, ‘Colleges Of Keralam’ took the responsibility of giving the Seekers the Right Direction that the Real Seeker Never Reaches Where He Or She Should ‘Not’ Be In!

As we already mentioned, despite the Tall claims by the Kerala IAS Training Institutions, our results have always been much less than mediocre! It’s been something like ‘If IAS, it’s ours or else its other’s’ approach that prevailed all these years! It is a pity that those poor things who burned midnight oil & somehow found themselves in the IAS List found themselves printed on the very next minute as the students of, at the least, a dozen IAS Training Institutions, at the same time! How this Magic happened no one, even the greatest of the magicians, understood!

To this environment Tutor MantraCollege (TMC) entered with the wholesome Commitment, Dedication, Quality , Discipline, Sincerity etc which it always had in whatever field of Education or Training its been into, all these years! As TMC has been the Leader in a number of Specific Fields like CA-CPT, IPCC, BCom (Professional), BPO, Chess, Vedic Mathematics, Career Guidance, Educational Guidance, Hands-On Projects, Creativity Workshops, General Knowledge Course, Spoken English Course, IELTS, InterviewTraining etc, it was not a hard task for the Quality Mantra called Tutor Mantra to step into the shoes which were waiting for a QualityIAS Training Institution to come, for a quite long time now!

Exhaustive Library, Exhaustive Video Library, Unique Quality Training Methods - which includes Unique Mind Techniques (UMTs), Direct To Brains Methods (DTBMs) etc, Extremely Knowledgeable Training Faculties, Great & Wonderful Learning Environment, 24/7 Learning Facility etc have been some of TMC’s alluring attractions! On the top of it all, the IAS Training Programme is exhaustively planned & closely monitored by none other than the Man Who Has Been Living Inspiration to Thousands, In Real Life, Mr.Johnson.V!

We, ‘Colleges Of Keralam’ gives Tutor Mantra College (TMC) 1-2 Years Time to prove what they are up to and wish them ‘Good Luck’ in their another classic effort in the matter of Quality Upgradation in IAS Training in Kerala that we, the Keralites, find ourselves up there on the top of the IAS Lists in large numbers, in all the years to come!

The Wise Kings Of Kerala!

The Learned Kings of Kerala -& most of the Kings there were learned!- were lovers of Arts, Literature, Sanskrit – the language of a lot of secrets! – Martial Arts & a lot of other things which were positive from a human beings’ angle; they were very kind & morally of very high quality & standard. They always thought about their people & had been in constant touch with people that they understood the people better!

They always thought about the well being of their people that they considered their people their children! They amassed wealth to serve their people better, in sharp contrast to the present day politicians! Some of them even served the people as the servants of some Divine Lords as was the case with Marthanda Varma! They were selfless and sincere in their thought & actions. The love, selflessness, sincerity & respect were mutual! Even in the fight between Valluva Konathiri of Malabar & Samoothiri of Kozhikode one can see this selflessness as hundreds of Chavers sacrificed their lives for their country! The Kings kept the kingdoms of Kerala safe at any cost & ruled the present state of Kerala till the independence of India!

The 1 lakh crore + unearthed from the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple @ Thiruvanathapuram is the ultimate proof of the wisdom, farsightedness, love towards their people, vision etc of those great rulers of Kerala who ruled the great country of MALAYALAM/KERALAM! One can well assume that at the time of the East India Company they stooped to conquer! When they understood that to fight the East India Company was futile, after a number of experiences, they must have used the trick of the lizards to throw their tails away to distract the enemies & escape with whatever that is important & precious! They stored their wealth – the wealth of their people – in such a way that not even the wind could understand where they kept the treasure safe, safely away from the constantly searching & scrutinizing eyes of the white men who plundered like the present day politicians!

Unicorns International

Unicorns International conducted 2 exclusive seminars @ Kochi & Thrissur on ‘The Youth & Education’, in this month! A number of papers were presented in the seminars on ‘The Youth & Education’, ‘Quality Education’, ‘Indian Education’, ‘Indian Culture’ etc.

Unicorns International Chief Coordinator Mr. Johnson.V, delivering the main speech, said “Nurturing a human being as a human being is the main purpose of any quality education & the present day education/ education system falls well short of it!”

The speakers at the seminars, including Ms. Varsha Johnson (Training Division Head, Unicorns International, Bangalore), were very vocal on the degradation of the education system & the dangerous impact this qualityless system of education we have here has on the up & coming generations! They said it’s high time that we start rebuilding our education system from the roots!

Both the seminars had very large audience, who were deeply and curiously interested in the present situation of education/education system. As the present generation gets sub-standard education from a very low age & keep growing in the same qualityless system of education, the topic ‘The Youth & Education’ was of utmost importance!

Suresh Gopi - The Superstar Less Appreciated!

Suresh Gopinathan Nair was born in Kollam to Gnanalekshmi and Gopinathan Pillai, on 25 June 1960! Suresh Gopi, as he is called quite often in the film industry, is an Indian film actor who works mainly in Malayalam cinema! He is famous for his roles in police dramas. He is noted for his leading roles as much as his character roles. He is also famous for his philanthropic efforts!

Suresh Gopi did his schooling at the Infant Jesus Anglo-Indian High School at Thangasseri. He graduated in English Literature from Fatima Mata National College in Kollam. He is married to Radhika, the granddaughter of Aranmula Ponnamma, the famous actress who passed away in 2011 after a very long stint in the Malayalam film industry, and has four children : Gokul, Bhagya, Bhavna, and Madhav. He is settled at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Suresh Gopi first appeared onscreen as a child in K. S. Sethumadhavan's Odeyil Ninnu, in 1965. He returned to acting in the 1986 Sathyan Anthikkad movie T.P. Balagopalan M.A. The films which made Suresh Gopi a bankable lead actor were Thalastanam (1992), Ekalavyan (1993), Mafia (1993) and Commissioner (1994)!

In Jayaraj's Kaliyattam (1997), an adaptation of Shakespeare's Othello, Suresh Gopi won the National Film Award for the Best Actor for playing the role of Kannan Perumalayan. This can be considered a main turning point in his career.

His movies after 2005 like Bharathchandran I.P.S., The Tiger, Chinthamani Kolacase, Nadiya Kollappetta Rathri,  Detective etc were commercial successes with the first one being a HUGE HIT!

He has not got the recognition he should have got effortlessly from the contemporary films in 2000s! Many of the movies, which were of good quality, flopped at the box office! It was the sheer negligence & baseless bias shown towards his movies from the side of the ordinary film goers that has created such a situation for him, despite the films being of good quality! The films include LANKA, TIME, SMART CITY, SAHASRAM etc! One can watch these movies on DVDs these days which will create an extremely fine image of Suresh Gopi in one's mind that should be appreciated for quality!

Kerala University!

The University of Kerala (Kerala University as it is called as well) is a university based in Thiruvananthapuram, the state capital of Kerala. It was established in 1937, much before the birth of the state of Kerala in India.

The University of Kerala, which was the University of Travancore when it was founded, was established in 1937 by a promulgation of the Maharaja of Travancore, Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma who was also the first Chancellor of the University. Sir C. P Ramaswamy Ayyar, the then Diwan of the State, was the first Vice-Chancellor. It was the Sixteenth University to be set up in India and ten Colleges within the State of Travancore which were affiliated to the Madras University became the affiliated colleges of the University of Travancore.

In 1957, the Kerala University Act, Act 14 of 1957, was brought into force and the University of Travancore was renamed University of Kerala. The University had three campuses located in three different parts of the State viz. Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode. Now, with the establishment of Calicut (1968) Kerala Agricultural (1971) & M.G (1983) Universities & Cochin University of Science and Technology(1971), the area of the jurisdiction of the University of Kerala has been limited to Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha Districts and some parts of Pathanamthitta District.

The university has 16 faculties and 41 departments of teaching and research. There are 81 affiliated colleges. Of these 45 are aided first grade Arts and Science Colleges, 8 are unaided first grade Arts and Science Colleges, 2 are Law Colleges, 4 Engineering Colleges, 2 Medical Colleges, 7 Aided Teachers Training Colleges, 6 Unaided Teachers Training Colleges, 1 Ayurveda College, 1 Homeopathy College, 2 Fine Arts Colleges, 1 Music College and 1 College of Physical Education. Besides this, there is an Affiliated Institute conducting 2-year full time MBA course. The University has recently started an Engineering College in its Kariavattom campus.
